About this Item: This head covering is ideal for summer, weekday Masses/Ordinary Time, pilgrimages, and especially for attendance at Papal visits where large crowds gather for outdoor Masses, Adorations, and Vigils (a long veil would get torn, blown off, cumbersome, or just uncomfortable). It comes with a small plastic resealable bag that fits in a purse, allowing you to bring it to work and wear it even when in business attire. It's not too small to be just a headband, but it might depend on your head circumference or hair thickness.
The veil features a tie-back design that is perfect as it ties but is also slightly stretchy and stays in place. If it doesn't stay on well, you can use a bobby pin on either side of the ties. It measures approximately 20 x 8 inches, and you can adjust the width of the veil. The lace is beautiful, and you'll love wearing it to traditional Mass.
